Workshop Wednesdays

I have really enjoyed the last few weeks doing workshops at Mountain Ash Crafts and thought you might like to see some of the projects we have been having fun making. We're a very relaxed little group and the ladies prefer to take their time making one project from start to finish rather than having kit form projects to stick together, but we are still evolving and trying different ways of working. We're also trying different cakes each week :)

Last week we made a teabag and cookie holder which would make a lovely little gift or treat for a friend. I had received a similar one from my friend Naomi, which had contained some pretty buttons, and couldn't wait to share the idea at my next workshop.
I made mine from a single sheet of Capsule Lincoln Linen paper, which was enough to also make the tag and butterfly embellishments. Then I added Vintage Notes lace, button, gems, twine and a gem brad. The 'cookies' are suspended in a clear plastic bag, fastened in the middle of the holder. Any small gift could be held in the same way and I think it looks really special.

In previous weeks we have made a Gorjuss Girls handbag:
A stretch card:
A folded keepsake card using Vintage Notes papers:

A bobin card:
A stamped and embossed stepper card:
A Postcard Pocket:
A double pocket card:
A hanging notepad holder:
Haven't we been busy little bunnies?
Hope you've enjoyed looking at our projects. If you'd like to join us, please do get in touch. All skill levels are welcome and what better way is there to pass a couple of hours :)
