It's definitely time for a quick catch-up, so I think I'd better start with all of the projects that we've been doing at our Wednesday workshops.
Just photographs and short descriptions for now, but I'll be doing some tutorials and more detailed step by steps very soon as so many people have requested them at my Docraft demos. So it's a case of 'Watch this space!'
Going right back to 24th April, where my last post left off, we made slider cards using the beautiful Vintage Notes Collection.
The plan was to decorate a take away bag too but the ladies barely finished their first project so they all had their bits in kit form to take home.
Our project on the 22nd May was a birdcage card. The card blanks were from Craftwork cards and the beautiful papers are Perfect Pets. Lots of stamping techniques with different mediums for this one.
For the last workshop in May, we had a go at iris folding. I'd made up my own pattern and used the Xcut butterfly die to create the aperture. Papers are me-to-you spring collection, a lovely fresh range.
We used the Bargello paper technique to decorate it and got some fabulous results.
Into July and we're playing with the newly launched Docrafts products, I have added all the photos of my latest projects to my Docrafts gallery now, so have a look on there if you need some more inspiration.
Our first workshop projects with the new Christmas in the Country range were an altered Bisto tub, using the new rolls of fabric paper, and a stamped masculine stag card.
Finally, last week we made a folded Star card. These have been very popular at my demos too, so I will be doing a full set of instructions / tutorial for this style of card as soon as possible.
We used the Capsule spots and stripes festive collection for this one. Interesting trying to photograph it, to say the least, but hopefully you'll be able to see how it works.
Hope you've enjoyed looking at all my projects and will pop back soon xx
